Its been a busy month and we are pleased with what has transpired. Last weekend we took to the water with some friends of the Kinetic for an underwater shoot, see the results on our Behance profile. It was a ridiculous amount of fun in spite of the rain and the colder than expected pool. We have also completed a number of new projects and are proud to share them with you in our work section. Our favourite is by far an advert we did for laughing cow working alongside the venerable Philip Davies, an animator of the highest pedigree. Unfortunately we can only post it after it has aired, but I am confident you will see it on television before you see it here.
We are toying with the idea of starting a blog to replace the news section, if only because updating it would be a lot simpler, and therefore we can have more frequent posts. On that note, Stephen is starting a photoblog! check it out here. He is yet to decide on a schedule for updating it, so keep checking back.
We have extended our presence in the internet further with the launch of our Behance profile, go have a look. We created a Vimeo channel to which we will be uploading our side projects, so check back regularly.
Our website has also undergone yet another, albeit minor, facelift, if you are still seeing grubby serif type, clear your history put the past behind you and join us in the wonderful world of sans serif. Anyone using Internet explorer 6? Of course not. But if they arrive they will now get a friendly greeting, informing them that their browser is solely responsible for global warming.
Some other things to look forward too: A client login area, a more comprehensive news section and last but not least some behind-the-scenes of our latest projects in the work section.
The latest addition to our creative team. Markus' responsibilities are simple, he is in charge of who gets to set the ambience in the office. In the interest of civility and sanity we decided to share a set of (epic!) speakers in the studio. So if one of us wants to drop some tunage we just ask markus to oblige, and BOOM the beats are a'blazin. To keep markus company when we are not in, we invested in a turntable. We now own a formidable musical ensemble of ecclectic vinyls, spanning many decades to include such prolific artists as ABBA, ELVIS and the Knife. We are constantly expanding this collection so if you have any old or great vinyls that need a new home, you know where to send them.
After almost three weeks of waiting, our brand spanking new machines have finally arrived! As you can see from the picture we didnt hold back on our weapons of choice. Two of the three machines are ready to rock, unfortunatly when we unpacked the third chassis we noticed that it had suffered some major damage (Based on the angle and intensity of the dents we concluded Velociraptors.). We should have a replacement box by the end of the week. Go go gadget courier service!
Our website went live today. We've done our best to make sure all the links work and that premium web content is but a click away. But with all such things, there are bound te be hiccups along the way. So consider this a BETA release. If you spot anything that scares you, let us know and we'll be sure to look into it. On a sidenote, this is a warning to all Internet Explorer users, especially versions 5 and 6. This website will not work right on your browser. But to be honest, if your using IE5, you don't deserve nice things. Clicks ahoy!
